Teaser Tuesday (March 24)

Teaser Tuesday

Teaser Tuesdays is a weekly bookish meme, hosted by MizB of A Daily Rhythm. Anyone can play along! Just do the following:

• Grab your current read
• Open to a random page
• Share two (2) “teaser” sentences from somewhere on that page
• BE CAREFUL NOT TO INCLUDE SPOILERS! (make sure that what you share doesn’t give too much away! You don’t want to ruin the book for others!)
• Share the title & author, too, so that other TT participants can add the book to their TBR Lists if they like your teasers!

My this week is from Where Things Come Back by John Corey Whaley

12162432“What’s funny?” Mena asked.

“There’s a psychic in my house and I’m crying on the porch.”

“And?” Lucas said.

“And I’m wondering how much more absurd this can all get.”

So, there is my teaser for the week. What is yours?

    • I’ve heard that a lot, and I completely agree. It does remind me of TFIOS. The book is really good so far, sort of in the vein of a John Green book, I think. Thanks for stopping by!

  1. I’ve read Where Things Come Back 2 or 3 times, and I love it so much! I hope you’re enjoying it! His most recent novel, Noggin, is great as well.

  2. I already have this title on my wishlist and will probably get myself a copy at some point… I love the cover and blurb, and your teaser definitely makes me want to move Where Wings Come Back towards the top of my list.

    Here’s my TT.
