I don’t have too much to say about this book. Honestly, this was hard for me to get into, which disappointed me. I was actually looking forward to this book. I found it confusing at times, because it seemed like Monsieur Perdu would have these memories right in the middle of something else, and there was no smooth transition. It took me a while to figure out what was happening. After a while, Perdu’s story just stopped interesting me. The book has a great premise, but wasn’t carried out well.

There were some great quotes in here, bit overall, I found it a disappointment.

  1. It’s annoying when books just don’t live up to their blurbs, or are completely different. I read one recently that was about time travel and no where in the blurb did it mention that, it’s not my favourite topic so it let the book down for me.
