I am still reading Invasion of the Tearling, Velvet, Our Endless Numbered Days, and The Crown of Embers. So it’s been a bit of a slow week, reading wise. I haven’t really picked up a book this week, and even though the books I am reading are really good, I just can’t seem to get back into them. I don’t know, maybe I need to go to a different book and then come back to them. Has anyone else experienced this? What do you do?
So you have probably heard of Muse Monthly if you’ve been on Tumblr (at least that’s where I found out about them). They are a monthly book subscription service that just got up and running with the June box. Each month you get a select book and tea, and for the June box, it was Our Endless Numbered Days by Claire Fuller and Mt Hood Vanilla tea (which is delicious by the way). I am reading Fuller’s book at the moment, and it’s intriguing; I’m not quite sure what I think of yet. To find out more about them and to see what brands they work with, click on the link above. I love them, and cannot wait to get my July box!
So I was shocked and excited when Epic Reads contacted me that I won five HarperTeen hardcovers. I’ve never won a giveaway, so I was totally not expecting that. Well, yesterday, those books arrived and I cannot wait to read them! The books I won: The Half Life of Molly Pierce by Katrina Leno Dust to Dust (Ashes #2) by Melissa C. Walker (I still need to read the first book) Blackout (Blackout #1) by Robinson Wells Dead Zone (Blackout #2) by Robinson Wells Meridian (Arclight #2) by Josin Mcqueen (I still have to read Arclight) These all look really good, and the cover for Meridian is so beautiful!
