This Week in Books: 12.16.15

I am joining in with the lovely Lipsy @ Lipsy’s Lost and Found’s feature which highlights our week in books. A similar theme is run by Sam @ Taking On A World of Words. I shall be sharing what I’m reading now, then and next! (And hoping to be consistent with posting this!)

I am still reading Love in Lowercase (I need to devote more time to it, in all honesty), but I started reading Shattered Blue by Lauren Bird Horowitz. I’m not too far into yet, since I’ve been in a mood to reread my Pride & Prejudice variations. 😀

I finished Why Not Me?Scorpio Races, and Stars of Fortune this past weekend. I loved both of them, though I think The Raven Cycle will always be my favorite books by Maggie Stiefvater.

I had also started and finished rereading From Lambton to Longhorn: A Pride & Prejudice Variation by Abigail Reynolds.

I’m still in a mood to reread my Jane Austen books, so I might reread one of those. Other than that? I have no clue. Maybe The Inventor’s Secret by Andrea Cremer.

What am I waiting on?

[Linking up with Breaking the Spine]

I loved Stars of Fortune, and I can’t wait to see what the second book will bring in their lives!

What are you currently reading?

  1. From what you say, I’m glad I started reading Maggie Stiefvater with The Raven Boys 🙂 I enjoyed it a lot and I’m looking forward to catching up with the rest of the series. Although I might not rush so I don’t have to wait for the final installment – there are some advantages to coming to a series very late!
I like the look of The Inventor’s Secret, although I think re-reading Austen on any variation on her is always a good idea.

    • There are definite advantages to coming to a series late! I wish April was here already so I could have my copy of The Raven King, lol. Thanks for stopping by! I’ll go and check out your post. 🙂

  2. I really want to get a copy of Shattered Blue soon; it sounds like such a great read! I’m still doubting if I want to read The Scorpio Races, since I didn’t really enjoy The Wolves Of Mercy Falls either. But The Raven Boys is really good so far. 😀 Good to hear you enjoyed Why Not Me? as well!

  3. I hope you liked ‘Why Not Me?’ I’m a fan of Kaling’s acting and I hope to read her book soon. Happy reading and thanks for participating in WWW Wednesday!
