Mini Arc Review | Love in Lowercase

The long and short of it is: it was a cute idea for a book that I just couldn’t connect with.

Love in Lowercase

You know how there are some books that you really want to like because they look interesting, but you just can’t connect with them? That was this book for me. I loved the idea of this book: an uplifting novel about a man who learns the importance of the little things in life. I’m not sure I can truly explain why I didn’t like. I just didn’t. I found the writing awkward, which didn’t help. It was disappointing.

It took me two weeks to get 86 pages into the story, and by that time I decided to just stop. This book just wasn’t for me, which makes me a little sad.

The only thing I liked about this book was the cat. He had personality, and would disappear at the mere mention of a vet. (Such a cat move.)
