2016 Classics Challenge Goal

There is this fantastic challenge over at Pretty Books blog that challenges you to read one classic book a month. I love reading classic books, but I haven’t read any for a while, so I figure this is a great way to get back into it!

A few books that I hope to read in the coming year:

  1. Jane Eyre by Charlotte Brontë (reread)
  2. Men Without Women by Ernest Hemingway
  3. Tracks by Louise Erdrich
  4. Go Set A Watchmen by Harper Lee
  5. Fahrenheit 451 by Ray Bradbury
  6. The Screwtape Letters by C.S. Lewis
  7. The Bell Jar by Sylvia Plath
  8. Frankenstein by Mary Shelley
  9. Wuthering Heights by Emily Brontë
  10. Rebecca by Daphne du Maurier (reread)
  11. The Heart is a Lonely Hunter by Carson McCullers
  12. Persuasion by Jane Austen (reread)

This list is probably subject to change, but for now, this is what I hope to read in 2016!

For a list of the rules and to sign up for the challenge, follow the link in the first paragraph.
