Top Ten Historical Settings You Love

Top Ten Tuesday is a weekly meme hosted by The Broke and the Bookish.  Each week there is a new topic and this week’s topic was a freebie, so I decided to do: Top Ten Historical Settings You Love

  1. Victorian London—some of my favorite romance books are set in that time period.
  2. Ancient Egypt—As I mentioned last week, I love anything to do with Ancient Egypt.
  3. WWII Pacific Arena—I love history, and one history I find myself reading about is World War II.
  4. Old West—this is a recent interest. Reading Vengeance Road by Erin Bowman was so good, I would love to read more set in this time!
  5. 1920’s—it’s such a different time, one that changed a lot about our history, that I find it fascinating.
  6. Regency Era—As you might guess from my blog name, I love Jane Austen.
  7. Ancient Rome
  8. Ancient Greece
  9. The French Revolution (“Let them eat cake”, although she probably never actually said that.)
  10. The Tudors

  1. Yes to all! I don’t think I’ve actually read much historical fiction set in Ancient Rome or Greece, but it certainly sounds like fun.

I adore these eras too!! Particularly the French Revolution (let’s just pretend Marie Antoinette said that, right?!? :P) And Egypt ❤ YUS. I grew up on so much Historical Fiction in Egypt and I miss it!
Thanks for stopping by @ Paper Fury!
