Top Ten Tuesday is a weekly meme hosted by The Broke and the Bookish. Each week there is a new topic and this week’s topic is: Ten Books or Series I Really Love But Feel Like I Haven’t Talked About Enough/In A While
Redwall series by Brian Jacques
I have a deep love for these books. They are so well written, so interesting, and what made me fall in love with otters. Seriously, otters are frickin’ adorable.
The Dark is Rising series by Susan Cooper
It’s been a while since I’ve read this series, but I loved it so much.
The Mysterious Benedict Society books by Trenton Lee Stewart
I don’t think this one is talked about enough. This trilogy was fantastic, and I just wish there were more books!
Song of the Lioness quartet by Tamara Pierce
Alanna is such a fierce warrior. I have to say the first two books are my favorite, but overall, I love these books.
Protector of the Small quartet by Tamora Pierce
Kel is by far my favorite female heroine of all time. I loved that romance was not the focus of these books. Yes, there are a few small romances, and interests, but that was not what the quartet was about, overall.
Immortals quartet by Tamora Pierce (as you can see, I love Tamora Pierce books!)
This is another quartet by Pierce that I could read over and over again.
NUMA Files series by Clive Cussler
I love Kurt Austin and his NUMA crew. Kurt reminds me of Peter Graves back in his Mission Impossible days (if you’ve ever seen the TV show from the 60’s). SO handsome.
Dirk Pitt series by Clive Cussler
Dirk Pitt was the first series to get me into reading Clive Cussler books, and let me just say I have a wee bit of an obsession.
The Oregon Files series by Clive Cussler
A newer series (it started after the NUMA Files) is another series by Cussler i’m obsessed with.
Little Women by Louisa May Alcott
I don’t talk about this classic enough, but I love this one. Alcott is one of my favorite authors outside of Jane Austen.
