This Week in Books: 04.13.16

I am joining in with the lovely Lipsy @ Lipsy’s Lost and Found’s feature which highlights our week in books. A similar theme is run by Sam @ Taking On A World of Words. I shall be sharing what I’m reading now, then and next! (Click on the photos to go to the Goodreads page)

NOW

My Grandmother

TLTSTW

THEN

A Study

Ove

I loved both of these books, though Ove stole my heart! [Here’s my review]

NEXT

Serpent King

I might read this next. I’m not sure if I even want to read it. It just doesn’t spark an interest with me. I don’t know.

What am I waiting on?

[Linking up with Breaking the Spine]

Britt-Marie Was Here comes out May 3, 2016!!

  1. How is The Love That Split The World? I haven’t started it and am not even sure I want to read it. I think you should definitely give The Serpent King a chance! It was so good!

  2. I really want to read A Study In Charlotte next month, so it’s good to hear you enjoyed it! I have been doubting whether to pick up a copy of The Love That Split The World; is it any good so far? The Serpent King sounds really good by the way. 😀 Happy reading!

    • TLTSTW is okay. I’m not blown away by it. If I had to give it a rating right now, it would be 3/5 stars. A Study in Charlotte was really enjoyable; I hope you like it when you read it next month!

      • Hmm I think I won’t be getting a copy any time soon then… I have too many unread books as it is anyway haha. I’m really looking forward to A Study In Charlotte though!

    • He’s a new find for me and I absolutely love him. He’s a new favorite author for me! 🙂
I wasn’t as impressed with TLTSTW. I set it down last night. It didn’t live up to the hype for me.
