I liked the idea of this book, but it ended up just be okay for me.

I have no idea how to write this review, so here are some brief thoughts.

I wasn’t overly impressed with this book. A big part of my problem with this book was that the characters just didn’t feel all that likable. Maddie was a bit of a whiner, which just irritates me, so that took away from enjoying the book. I think the only likable character in the book was Gram. She was funny, and lively, and yet tragic because hello! she’s dying. She was the one redeeming factor for me.

This book was sad, for obvious reasons. Her poor gram is dying from cancer and want them all to go on this “Death With Dignity” cruise, which is basically promotes assisted suicide. I have many issues with this, so another strike for this book for me.

Overall, I didn’t feel there was that much that was memorable about this book.

*I was given an arc copy of this book via Netgalley in exchange for an honest review*

My Rating: 3/5 stars
