I am joining in with the lovely Lipsy @ Lipsy’s Lost and Found’s feature which highlights our week in books. A similar theme is run by Sam @ Taking On A World of Words.
NOW
I am currently reading: Reasons to Stay Alive by Matt Haig, Paris, My Sweet by Amy Thomas, and Empire of Dust (Legacy of Kings #2) by Eleanor Herman
THEN
I recently finished: milk and honey by Rupi Kaur and Queen of Hearts by Colleen Oakes
NEXT
I might read Talon by Julie Kagawa next. I’m not sure.
What am I waiting on?

There seem to be quite a few Alice in Wonderland-related retellings/stories popping up at the moment. It’s funny how these things seem to come in waves. It was Snow White a while ago!
I hope you enjoy Talon. I’ve been thinking about putting that series on my list…

Ooh! I never thought to combine the Wednesday posts, lol! I’m posting my www wed. post in the evening 😑 Anywho, How was Queen of Hearts? It’s supposed to start it over the weekend, but things gots away from me, haha! I also want to read Milk and Honey, once I can get my hands on it ☺️

I really enjoyed Queen of Hearts. It didn’t blow me away or anything. There wasn’t much character development, but as it’s a short book, I suspect more will happen in the 2nd book.
Milk and Honey was sooooo good! I’m not a huge poetry person, and that one made me cry.
Thanks for stopping by! 🙂

First of all something completely random: I love your photos! The red roses are gorgeous. Talon is on my list of books I want to read this month; I still don’t know why I haven’t read it sooner because I love stories about dragons. I hope you’ll enjoy your books this week!

I actually have a few dragon books pending, but somehow I never actually pick them up. I’m going to try and read at least Talon and Uprooted soon though. (And maybe The Dragonian series sequel Thunderlight since I really enjoyed the first book.) So many books and so little time! 😉 Happy reading!

I had only heard of it recently, and then saw in the bookstore and immediately picked it up. I really loved it and his wisdom.

I hope you are enjoying Nash! I haven’t read any of Crownover’s work, but I’ve heard good things about the books, so maybe I’ll have to read one! I’ll stop by your post now. 🙂

I keep seeing The Muse pop up. It sounds interesting, but I’m not always sure of past/present in books. I hope you enjoy it!
