This Week in Books | 02.22.17

I am joining in with the lovely Lipsy @ Lipsy’s Lost and Found’s feature which highlights our week in books. A similar theme is run by Sam @ Taking On A World of Words

I recently finished Ensnared by Rita Stradling [review here], as well as a reread (or in this case, relisten) of Red Herring Without Mustard by Alan Bradley.

Once again, I’m hoping to start one of these three Book of the Month Club selections.

Which one do you think I should read?

What am I waiting on?

  1. I keep seeing Ensnared on Netgalley and have been really tempted but the reviews are not that great. Just checked out yours and it sounds like this is maybe a book best avoided. Sorry you didn’t enjoy

The Avalonia Chronicles sounds amazing! I need to check the first ook out on Goodreads. Thanks for sharing 🙂

  3. I tried to read One Hundred Years of Solitude when I was a teenager…it didn’t go very well LOL! I’d be interested to see if I could get through it these days. It would probably make a good Book Club read.

    Enjoy your week!

  4. I’m sorry to hear you didn’t enjoy Ensnared! It’s probably a good thing then I didn’t request a copy in the end… I hope your books this week will be better! Happy reading. 🙂
