This Week in Books | 04.19.17 #currentlyreading

I am joining in with the lovely Lipsy @ Lipsy’s Lost and Found’s feature which highlights our week in books. A similar theme is run by Sam @ Taking On A World of Words

NOW

I am currently reading You by Caroline Kepnes, and The Rise of the Dawnstar (The Avalonia Chronicles #2) by Farah Oomberhoy [review of book #1 here].

THEN

I recently finished reading Dragonwatch by Brandon Mull [review to come], as well as The Breakdown by B.A. Paris [review here]. Both were such great reads! I also finished some novellas: The Governess Was Wicked by Julia Kelly; The Forbidden Duke by Darcy Burke; and The Darcys of Derbyshire by Abigail Reynold (part of this I listened to on audiobook).

NEXT

Next I will probably read Waking Gods (Themis Files #2) by Sylvain Neuvel, as it is a library book.

What am I waiting on?

[Linking up with Breaking the Spine]

In just a few short weeks, Into the Water by Paula Hawkins will be out! I loved The Girl on the Train, so I can’t wait to read this one!

What are you currently reading?

I want to try Into the Water and I just hope it lives up to the hype it’s getting!

I hope you’re enjoying You. I have a copy and have wanted to try it.

  2. I’ve read most of Abigail Reynolds’ books, but haven’t read ‘The Darcys of Derbyshire’. I need to read that! I hope you enjoyed it. And, wow, ‘You’ sounds good! Scary! People put too much on social media about themselves. Sometimes, I wonder if I putting too much about myself out there too.

    Have a great week!

    • YOU is definitely a scary book! And you’re right, it does make you question how much you are putting out on social media. I wonder the same thing at times.

Have a great week as well. 🙂
