This Week in Books | 05.03.17

I am joining in with the lovely Lipsy @ Lipsy’s Lost and Found’s feature which highlights our week in books. A similar theme is run by Sam @ Taking On A World of Words

NOW

Right now I am currently listening to Steve West narrate Strange the Dreamer on Audible. I am also going to be starting my arc copy of The Child by Fiona Barton, which comes out June 27.

THEN

Instead of reading Beartown like I had planned, I started Hunted by Meagan Spooner over the weekend and finished it in two days [review here].

NEXT

Beartown is still on my list to read soon, but I will probably start A Court of Wings and Ruin by Sarah J. Maas after I’m done with Strange the Dreamer.

What am I waiting on?

  1. Love your photos as always! And I basically want to read all the titles on your list. Except for ACOWAR, because I’ve decided to boycot that series until more books are published. Happy reading!

    • Thank you!

I can understand wanting to boycott until there are more books! They leave you with such a book hangover, it’s awful. Thanks for stopping by!

  2. I’ll be interested to see what you think of The Child. I have a copy, but have been putting it off. I didn’t love her first book.

I bought a copy of Maas’ new book. But I still need to read the second book. I hope you enjoy it!

  3. I’m glad you enjoyed Hunted! I’ve only seen positive reviews for that book. I want to pick up Strange the Dreamer but I just haven’t wanted to dive into such a complex world yet. I hope you are enjoying it!

  4. I’m currently reading Strange the Dreamer and I’m so in love with it. New favorite for sure. I’m definitely going to need the audio version as well haha.
I’ll also probably be reading ACOWAR next. I’m excited for it and trying to avoid spoilers like crazy.
