This Week in Books | 06.14.17 #twib

I am joining in with the lovely Lipsy @ Lipsy’s Lost and Found’s feature which highlights our week in books. A similar theme is run by Sam @ Taking On A World of Words

NOW

I just started reading The Unlikely Pilgrimage of Harold Fry by Rachel Joyce last night. I can’t wait to get further into it, as it reminds me of Fredrik Backman’s books (and we all know how much I love his books!). I am also reading Beauty in the Breakdown by Zoey Arielle Poulsen, a youtuber I recently came across and whose channel I fell in love with!

THEN

I just finished A Million Junes by Emily Henry last night and fell in love. It was such a beautifully written story and makes me want to go back and read The Love That Split the World (I was not so fond of that book). {Edit: read my review here.} I also started and finished reading On the Spectrum by Jennifer Gold over the weekend. While I loved the premise of the book, the execution fell short [review here]. Also over the weekend, I finished Death on the Nile by Agatha Christie. If you need one book to be introduced to her writing, chose this one! It is hands down one of her best.

NEXT

I hope to start Siracusa by Delia Ephron next. I’ve been eyeing this for what seems like ages, and I can’t wait to start it!

What am I waiting on?

[Linking up with Breaking the Spine]

I want this book.
