“This is the problem when you create enemies, Erika. They go off and plot, and often flourish in the shade.”
I’ve read and finished a few books in the last week (or two), but I didn’t have enough to say about them for a full review, so instead, I’m going to do a mini review of a few of them.
This book had a lots of potential, and to be honest, this was a cover buy. It was insightful and captivating, but at the same time there was an element to the story that left me bored, and I can’t pinpoint exactly what that was.
I liked the idea of this book, but it ended up just be okay for me.
The premise of the book intrigued me (a twist on the Robin Hood tale!), but sadly, it just didn’t hold my interest.
A girl witnesses her daredevil brothers’ horrific accidental death, and spends the next five years scaring away her friends, becoming a daredevil herself.
