“To be a writer is to be a life thief. Every day, I rob myself blind.”
“Your Mr Shakespeare knew a thing or two about love. He hit the nail on the head when he wrote, ‘The course of true love never did run smooth.’ No fool, Shakespeare.”
“Life takes us to unexpected places sometimes. The future is never set in stone, remember that.”
This is adorable. ADORABLE. 😫😍 You know that feeling where you want to cry and laughs at the same time? That’s this book. You won’t be able to put this down!
I was reading both these books at the same time, so I was struck by the similarities in the stories. In both, women were kidnapped and tortured, then killed and their bodies dumped. In both cases, the killers found their victims through social media.
Since I read quite a number of books in June, I thought I would highlight my favorites that I read so that this post didn’t run on. If you wanted to see what I read in June, you can follow this link to my Goodreads ‘Read’ shelf.
